About me
Having worked in public accounting offices for over 20 years at a various sized firms from local offices to national firms, I fained a wide range of knowledge in the accounting and tax specialties but always found that there was something lacking in the client experience. Many firms focused on growth and bigger corporate clients where I wanted to learn about the needs of the smaller clients.
Then in 2018, my wife and I had a son that suffered a severe brain injury during delivery and has complex medical needs. Meeting families that are in similar situations, I realized that navigating the tax system for some of these families can be quite overwhelming and so I wanted to him those in similar situations as best I can.
In 2021 we switched to Family Managed Health Care (FMHC) for managing the care our son requires and have started helping other families from across Ontario with the filing and bookkeeping under these programs. I am always striving to learn more and how I can help others.
